Another Project??

Can you believe it? We are going to start another house remodeling project. This FINAL project is going to be the master bathroom. It can only be described as "Blah" right now, but we are going to take the Blah to Wow very soon now. We are working with a contractor this time, as there is too much for us to do by ourselves. Tom is a personal acquaintance who has great ideas and an excellent reputation. So, how can we go wrong??
I am going to post the pictures of what the bathroom looks like now and then pictures of the products we are going to be using. As we go through the demolition phase, I will also post pictures of that, the remodel, and then the final product as well. We are excited to do this as we have picked out some pretty cool stuff to go in there.
So, here goes - This is the vanity (ignore the pill bottles). We are replacing this with a new vanity with granite top and vessel sinks.

This is the jetted soaking tub. We will leave the tub in but replace the tile.

This is the shower and laundry chute. We will get rid of the wall where the laundry chute is and move the shower down there. At the wall, we will have Tom build a linen cabinet to store all the stuff that is under the sink and in the little medicine cabinet on the wall.

Now, for pictures of what it will look like:

This is the tile for the floor as well as the glass tile (opaque not shiny) we will use as a back splash and accent. I think we will go with smaller rectangular glass tiles for more dimension. The base of the shower will be pebbles, so that will be cool as well.

This is the tile and granite (similar to the granite we picked out as they did not have an exact piece)

This is the stain color of the new vanity as well as the layout of it. We will get some well needed storage!

We are going with oil rubbed bronze fixtures, so that should be cool as well. This is the vessel sink and below it the faucet.

Pebbles for the base of the shower

Put it all together with the paint swatch and this is what you end up with.

So, what do you think??

Looks like a pretty extensive overhaul. I can't wait to see the end result! -Pretty elegant! I'm sure it'll look awesome like all of the other projects you've done. Good luck. (I wish we had pebbles in our shower. We stayed at a little cabin in Montana and thought the pebble bottom shower was the coolest!)
