The Gaylord Texan has an Ice sculture exhibit, which we went to on Tuesday, the 22nd. It is approximately 4 degrees in there, so quite cold, which of course you need to keep the ice from melting. It was very cool (no pun intended). They had Santa, reindeer, nativity scene, gingerbread houses - lollipops, gum drops, life savers - and lots more, including an ice slide which Andy went down. It was pretty cold by that time, so the younger Becker's kept walking. After going through "Ice", we then had an excellent dinner at the hotel and then back to the house.

The men took on poker and whiskey (Phil had to help Mike get rid of his scotch) while the women folk headed up to bed.

Today we have cookies and cupcakes to make in preparation for Christmas. Mike and Emma are now frosting the pumpkin bread and Andy is still sleeping. It is a little warmer here today so we are hoping for some beautiful sunny weather.

Santa's elf, Fizbee is spending his last day here on top of the TV. Tonight he leaves to go back to stay with Santa's other elves and will come back at Thanksgiving next year to watch over Emma and report back to Santa if she is good or not.

Tonight we have church and then Andy is making his famous Pesto. Yum. On Christmas we will be opening presents and then head over to Stan and Laurie's (Stacy's parents) for lunch. Happy Holidays!
