It must be getting close to the holidays. I had the urge to make pumpkin bread last night. So now I have the bread for Thanksgiving and Christmas tucked away in the freezer. Yum.
Now I just need to decide what I wil make and share with the folks at work. For the past couple years I have made small loaves of bread for each person, but have never seen anyone else do something similar. So, perhaps this year it is time to mix it up - should I make peppermint bark? chocolate bark? Spiced pecans? Or save myself the trouble and skip it this year?
And, on that note, it is also time to start the Christmas letter. That will be one of my projects while we are at the cottage.
But, I have started my Christmas shopping. Sadly, again, Andy may end up with coal in his stocking if he doesn't get me a list. (Since I know he gets notified as soon as I update my blog, I know he will be reading this shortly.)(Love you!)
P.S. Mom's house closed without a hitch - other than the fact she is insisting she talk to the new owner. WHY? What is the reasoning? I know she is concerned about the neighbors (????) but it is kind of late now. The deed is done.
Happy Tuesday.
