Working weekend

Yes, I have to work this weekend - but only this morning on the Helpdesk. Then we are back at it working on the bathroom project.

We had Tom, the contractor who did our upstairs bathroom, put in the crown molding as the walls were not straight and Phil was just a little frustrated. Anyways, he got that done as well as removed the mirror from the wall and the counter top, and repaired the walls.

So, today we are going to pick out our granite piece after work. Then back to the house where I will finish painting the walls. On Wednesday the final measurement for the granite will take place. Then we just have to wait for it to be fabricated and installed. Slow but sure the project is getting done. I think it will look very nice and will of course post pictures when completed.

Next weekend we will discuss putting the cottage back on the market as well as put tile behind the kitchen back splash there. That should be an easy job, as it is just a 12 x 12 mosaic. Phil will finish the patching on areas of the walls that had cracks and then we can paint it. Always stuff to do - or maybe it is that we always find things to do???
