No matter how hard we tried, we still got some feathered renters on our pergola over the deck. They were quite insistent on building their nest and having their children where we could see them progress.
These pictures were taken on July 12. You can see that the babies are almost ready to leave the nest. In fact, on the 15th, I came home from work and they were gone. So, here is a close and personal picture of nature at work.
