I know you all can hardly stand it that I have not posted pictures in 2 days. Well, really, the only thing going on is that the drywall is being taped and the plaster stuff put on - a little layer each day. Today another layer goes on over the tape and then tomorrow they SAND! As if the house is not dusty enough as it is.
We realize we made a not so brilliant decision - or lack of one - and have left the ceiling fan on in the family room all this time. Since the family room is 2 stories high, all the dust from the 2nd floor has been "assisted" by the fan down to the first floor. The plan is to now turn off the fan and then this weekend start the dusting marathon. Every nook and cranny on the first floor will have to be tackled as well as all the rooms upstairs. I need to buy a bunch of the grab it dust cloths, as there is a lot of dust to eliminate. We won't bother with cleaning carpet until this whole thing is done.
Monday - TILE!
